  • Graduated in Aeronautical Engineering, Politecnico di Torino, 1956. 
  • Correspondent Member of the Accademia delle Scienze di Torino.
  • Awarded the title of "Commendatore dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica" with Presidental Decree, 2nd June 1987.
  • Former post-tenured Professor at the First Engineering Faculty of Politecnico di Torino.
  • Dean of Faculty at Politecnico di Torino from 1st November 2005 until 31st October 2006.
  • Qualified Professor of Aicraft Design at Politecnico di Torino since 1970.
  • Coordinator of the PhD Programme in Aerospatial Engineering of Politecnico di Torino since its inception.
  • Former Tenured Professor of Aeronautical and Missile Technology Design at the Engineering Faculty of Politecnico di Torino.

  • Aircraft and Space Vehicles Design, Security and Reliability in Aerospace, Structural Theory, Mechanics of Continuous Deformability.
  • Author of more than 130 publications - articles, presentations at national and international Congresses and Conferences in the above-mentioned domains.

  • President (for few years) of the Commission for Tenures of the Engineering Faculty of Politecnico di Torino.
  • President of the Commission for the establishment of the PhD Programmes of the Engineering Faculty of Politecnico di Torino.
